As runners, lifters or cyclists we’re always pushing our boundaries seemingly just for the next race distance, weight class or some other arbitrary reason. People think we’re nuts because all those hours spent training, early nights and missed parties do add up. Sure there is no real reason for most people to be able to run 5 km without stopping let alone 42.2 km or even more. The thing we get that they don’t is all the possibilities that pushing your limits leads to. So if you find your motivation lacking this weekend thinks about all the things the old you couldn’t do at one time and dig deep!
